SFU Cross Country kicked off the season with an impressive showing at the Biola Invitational in Southern California.

The women's team placed 2nd overall, led by standout performances from senior Rachael Watkins, who claimed 1st place, and freshman Raiya Matonovich, who finished 3rd in her freshman season debut.

On the men's side, SFU finished 6th overall in a competitive field, showing promise as the season gets underway.

With strong individual and team results, SFU Cross Country is off to a confident start as they prepare for Western Washington Bill Roe Invitational on Saturday September 27.
