Tournament Recap: SFU Men's Golf Captures Bishop Invitational Title

SFU Men's Golf emerged victorious at the Saint Martin's University Bishop Invitational, clinching the team championship.

The Red Leafs finished tied for first with Western Washington University after three rounds of play, both teams posting a total score of 844. The title was decided in a playoff, where Justin Bjornson delivered the moment of the tournament—draining a clutch birdie on the second playoff hole to secure the win for SFU.

Individually, Max Corcoran tied for 3rd with a score of 208, while Brendan O'Brien tied for 5th with a score of 209, and Danny Im tied for 11th with 213.

As his first collegiate event, Jonathan Van Pykstra played as an individual and finished tied for 21 with respectable scores of 70-77-69 (216).

This win marks a major highlight in the team's fall season and sets the tone for their next outing at the Western Washington University Invitational.
