Biography

Wright is a 6-foot-6 wing who transferred from NCAA Division 1 University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where he missed the past two seasons due to COVID-19 (2020-21) and a medical redshirt (2019-20), but earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. He is doing his Master's Degree in SFU's Graduate Liberal Studies Program at SFU. 

 Wright also played two seasons at Miami Dade College (Junior College) where he shot 43 per cent from the field and 31 per cent on threes while averaging nine points and 3.5 rebounds. He was named to the FCSAA All-Academic Team and was on the Southern Conference All-Academic Team. In high school Wright's teams won OFSAA gold (2015) and bronze medals (2016).
