Biography

Jimmy Zaborniak signed with SFU after being named B.C. Quadruple-A championship Most Valuable Player. Zaborniak earned championship MVP honour after South's 72-57 title-game triumph over Semiahmoo of Surrey. He averaged 22.25 points a game over the four tournament contests. A 6-foot point guard, Zaborniak led Burnaby South Secondary School to Quadruple-A provincial titles in 2020 and 2022 (there was no 2021 tournament) and a BC junior banner in 2019.  Zaborniak was a Second-Team All-Star at the 2019 Junior Boys provincial invitational tournament.
