Nigel Hylton is versatile player capable playing all the front court positions. Hylton most recently played in spring 2022 for the ALL 4 ONE senior team of the NPH Showcase League, and averaged 29.5 points and 11 rebounds per game. This past school campaign, Hylton competed for the Golden State Prep Grey post-graduate team, taking part in events across North America.

Last summer (2021), Hylton was a member of Canada Elite on the Under Armor Association circuit. His team won its division at the 43rd annual Jane and Finch Classic basketball event in Ontario, and Hylton earned recognition as a tournament all-star. Hylton attended Thornlea Secondary in Markham, Ont., during the 2020-21 season, and Lake Forest Academy, one of Illinois' top prep schools, the year before that. In 2019, Hylton played in the BioSteel Boys Futures Game and the Signature All-Canadian Showcase Junior Boys contest. That year, Canada Basketball invited Hylton to its U16 Men's National Team Training Camp.
