Dominic Postle is a native of Bellevue, WA and comes to Simon Fraser from Issaquah High School. He was a starter in his junior year for the team that won the 4A KingCo Championship and placed sixth at the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) state tournament. The six-foot-nine forward/centre then played for Elite Prep as a senior and competed against top-ranked high schools and post-high school/junior college teams in tournaments throughout the US. Outside of basketball, Postle held different leadership positions in high school and he volunteered as a trainer and camp counselor at various basketball training programs.
 
"The opportunities available both on and off the court at SFU are excellent," Postle explained. "I believe SFU is the right fit for me to flourish as a student-athlete and in life after college. I am excited to play for a great basketball program in a competitive league." He will be joining the Beedie School of Business in Fall 2018.
