Biography

Prior To SFU
Safin, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound shooting guard from Rocklin, California, transfered to the Clan from NCAA Division II Chico State after redshirting the 2015-16 season. Coming out of Rocklin High School, Safin was a two-time All-Sierra Foothill League selection who helped lead the Thunder to 2013 Sac-Joaquin Section semifinals. He scored over 1,000 points in high school and once made 23 of 26 three-pointers over five consecutive games.
