Jonas Worth


Jonas Worth joined the SFU men’s soccer staff as an assistant in the fall of 2020 after a 15-year career in collegiate coaching at the NCAA, USports and CCAA levels. He is currently working on the Canada Soccer Association A License, holds a UEFA B License from England, and a Premier Diploma from United Soccer Coaches.
 
Since finishing a master’s specializing in sports psychology at UBC in 2010, Worth has worked with multiple teams and individual athletes to develop their mental skills at the elite level. The former goalkeeper is also a qualified diversity and inclusion consultant, most recently in the role of director with the You Can Play Project and working with the NHL, MLS, USL, CFL, NFL, NCAA and the Canadian Olympic Committee.
 
Born in New Brunswick, Canada and raised in New York, Worth attended McGill University as an undergrad before playing in Brazil, Germany, the UK and Canada.
