Tyler Baldock currently works with the Vancouver Whitecaps Goalkeeper Academy and he joins SFU as an assistant coach with the men’s soccer program for the 2015-16 season. Baldock has also been the Head of Goalkeeping Development for Surrey United F.C for the past several seasons.
 
Professionally, Baldock played for the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in 2007 and 2008 where they went on to win the USL.1 Championship. He also played for the Abbotsford Mariners (United Soccer Leagues) in 2008 and the West Virginia Chaos (Premier Development League) in 2005.
 
Baldock is a graduate of Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tenn. where he earned a degree in Exercise Science. While at Carson-Newman, Baldock backstopped the Eagles to four straight conference championships and two regional championships. He was a three time All-American, All-Region and All-Conference award winner and in 2004 and 2005 he earned back-to-back South Atlantic Conference Player of the Year honours.
 
In addition to his team and individual awards Baldock holds the SAC record for lowest single season goals against average, most career shutouts and best save percentage.
