Biography

Prior To SFU
Schmidt is a defender and a midfielder, who joins the Clan from Germany. At home in Germany, Schmidt has played for the VFB Stuttgart youth team and the Stuttgarter Kickers. Schmidt won the German championship in Duisburg with Württemberg and helped the under-19 Kickers squad climb from the Oberliga into the Bundesliga. 

2015-16
Named GNAC All-Conference Honourable Mention and co-winner of the GNAC Newcomer of the Year award.
