Biography

Georges Lefebvre, a 6-foot-9 forward, transferred to SFU following two years with the University of Vermont. The NCAA Division I transfer will be eligible to play three seasons for SFU. Lefebvre, who is from Montreal, appeared in 16 games with Vermont in the last two years, scoring 17 points and averaging 2.8 minutes per game. This past season, the Catamounts made the NCAA Tournament by winning the America East Conference.  Before starting his university career, Lefebrve was an honour roll student at Cape Fear Academy in Wilmington, North Carolina. He earned North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association All-Conference honours in both his junior and senior years. Lefebrve made the NCISAA All-State Team in his senior season.
