A redshirt for the 2018-19 season, Sehic was a standout for the 2018 BC High School Boys 4-A provincial champion Burnaby South Rebels. Leading the program to their first title in 29 years, Sehic had 18 points and 10 rebounds in the championship game against the Semiahmoo Totems in the final and was named tournament MVP.
