KAMLOOPS, BC – Simon Fraser University opened it preseason schedule losing 74-56 to the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack in an exhibition men's basketball game Saturday afternoon.
The WolfPack won their fifth game in a row on Saturday afternoon at the Warner Rentals court at the Tournament Capital Centre.
It was the first game of the year for the Clan and new head coach
Virgil Hill.
TRU led 21-20 after the first quarter and were up 39-27 at the half. The 'Pack won every quarter aside from the fourth when they were outscored 17-11.
Simon Fraser had two players in double figures. Freshman
Oshea Gairey had 17 points while senior
Michael Harper added 13.
