Game Recap: SFU Women's Basketball Sweeps Yellowjacket Classic

The Simon Fraser University (SFU) Red Leafs opened the Yellowjacket Classic, hosted by Montana State Billings, with a hard fought 49-42 victory over Adams State on Friday. The team carried  that momentum into their second game, defeating Jamestown 55-45 and proving they're a force to be reckoned with early in the season. 

After two strong performances, Bree Neufeld earned Tournament MVP honours and Rachel Loukes was named to the All-Tournament Team. 

Next up, the team heads to Grand Junction, Colorado for the Colorado Mesa Maverick Thanksgiving Classic. Watch their game against Colorado Mesa at 4:00 pm on Friday, November 28 here.
