SFU Women's Golf finished 6^th of 21 teams at this year's NCAA West Region Preview hosted by CSU Pueblo in Colorado this week. SFU held their own throughout the tournament against competitive teams such as Dallas Baptist University, the previous winners of the NCAA DII National Championship.

Anaya Bhandal and Dana Smith both tied for 20th place with identical scores of 153 (+11), shooting 77 (+6) in the first round and 76 (+5) in the second. Meera Minhas and Izzy Ferguson tied for 46th place with scores of 157 (+15); Meera shot 80 (+9) in round one and 77 (+6) in round two, while Izzy had the reverse: 77 (+6) followed by 80 (+9). Belle Brezovski finished tied for 89th with a total score of 166 (+24), shooting 80 (+9) in the first round and 86 (+15) in the second.

The team's final fall season event, the Cal State East Bay Fall Tournament, takes place October 27-28 in Hayward, California.
