The Simon Fraser University Women's Golf team capped off their fall season with a stellar performance, finishing 2nd overall at the Cal State East Bay Fall Tournament in California. SFU posted a team score of 906 (+42) across three rounds, just ten strokes behind tournament champions Cal State San Marcos (CSUSM).
Leading the team was sophomore
Cadence Ko, who placed 4th overall with a score of 221 (+5). Ko opened with a brilliant 69 (-3) in Round 1 and followed up with rounds of 78 (+6) and 74 (+2).
Also finishing in the top 20:
- Meera Minhas – 225 (+9) | Tied for 9th
- Rounds: 77 (+5), 77 (+5), 71 (-1)
- Izzy Ferguson – 227 (+11) | Tied for 12th
- Rounds: 72 (E), 79 (+7), 76 (+4)

- Anaya Bhandal – 234 (+18) | Tied for 28th
- Rounds: 73 (+1), 78 (+6), 83 (+11)
- Chloe Tran – 249 (+33) | Tied for 57th
- Rounds: 82 (+10), 85 (+13), 82 (+10)
This marks the final tournament of the fall season for SFU, and the team finishes on a high note with strong individual and team performances. With three players in the top 20 and a team round of 291 (+3), the lowest of the tournament, SFU has set a solid foundation heading into the spring.
