Simon Fraser University is 50, and to celebrate, we're counting down 50 Incredible Moments in Clan History. This week we celebrate women's soccer winning the 2000 NAIA Championship.

In 2000, the SFU women's soccer team captured its second NAIA national title in dramatic fashion when MVP Phebe Trotman scored in the fifth overtime period to give the Clan a 1-0 victory over Lindenwood (Missouri).  The game was seven minutes longer than the 1996 overtime thriller that SFU won for its first national title.
