Andrea Schnider played for the women’s basketball program from 1988-1992 and was a member of legendary coach Allison McNeill’s first recruiting class.

She was an NAIA All-American in 1991 and 1992, and was a member of the first SFU women’s basketball team to qualify for an NAIA National Championship. As of her induction in 2014 she is still the NAIA all-time assist leader with 926 in her career. She held the SFU record for assists in a game with 17 and assists in a season with 283 when she graduated. The university officially retired her No. 12 jersey.
