Bob Molle was a two-sport athlete for the Clan and the first wrestler to win four consecutive NAIA national championships, winning his first heavyweight title as a freshman in 1983. In his sophomore year, Bob qualified for the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, competing 18 days after having back surgery. He won a silver medal. 
 
During his collegiate wrestling career Bob compiled a 134-5-0 record and he was the first athlete to win Sport BC University Athlete of the Year twice (1983 and 1984). He was later inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame. 
 
Bob also played defensive end and offensive lineman for the Clan football team. He was drafted in the first round (9th overall) by Winnipeg in the 1985 CFL Draft. Bob played eight years, winning the Grey Cup twice.  He is the only athlete to have a Grey Cup Championship and an Olympic medal.
