Doug Roxburgh is one of Canada’s most outstanding amateur golfers. He won the first of his 13 B.C. Amateur Championships in 1969, at the age of 17, and the following year won the Canadian Junior Championship by six strokes.  
 
Doug attended the University of Oregon on a golf scholarship but left to complete his degree at Simon Fraser University. 
 
Doug won the Canadian Amateur four times and represented his country on six World Amateur Teams. Internationally he competed in the British Amateur three times and represented Canada on the 1971 and 1975 winning Commonwealth teams as well as the winning Simon Bolivar Cup team in Venezuela in 1979.  
 
Doug is a member of the Canadian Golf, BC Golf and BC Sports Halls of Fame.
