Hall of Fame
Paul Savage was the first head coach of the SFU swimming program and along with his assistant and wife Margaret, he led the SFU men’s swimming and diving team to ten NAIA championships and the women’s side to three.
Together they also coached many swimmers to international prominence from the 1960s to 1980s.
Both are members of the NAIA Swimming and Diving Hall of Fame, Paul being inducted in 1982 and Margaret in 1985 as the first woman inducted into that Hall of Fame.
