Rick House was a running back for SFU, and in 1978, he enjoyed one of the most productive seasons on record. Rick rushed for a then school record 230 yards in a game against Portland State and he averaged 8.67 yards per carry that season. 
 
A native of Burnaby, BC, Rick was drafted in the first round, fifth overall, by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 1979 CFL Draft. Switching to receiver in the CFL, Rick had more than 8,000 receiving yards and tallied 55 touchdowns. He won three Grey Cups -- two with Winnipeg and one with Edmonton.  
 
Rick is a member of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Hall of Fame and was voted by fans one of the club’s All-Time Greats.
