Maureen de St. Croix (Crawley) was a Simon Fraser University student in the 1970s. An accomplished middle and distance runner, Maureen represented Canada at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. She also competed for Canada at the 1986 World Cross Country Championships.  
 
Maureen was considered a pioneer for women’s long distance running events, running five and 10 kilometer runs competitively at a time when it was rare. Maureen is an active Masters track and field competitor, coach and official, and she has set numerous world records while competing for Canada.
